  Cell Phone Re-Cycling

Cellphone

Seems like we all get new cell phones every few years, but what are you doing with your old ones? Are they lying around your house or business and you don't know what to do with them? Well, here's your chance -- Nevada Public radio accepts old cell phones once a year for recycling. This is an opportunity to do something green for the environment.

Old cell phones are either refurbished or batteries are safely discarded and kept out of landfills. Tax-deductible receipts are available. Last year 100 cell phone batteries were safely disposed of. This year we hope to recycle even more.

We encourage you to start your own cell phone recycling campaigns, perhaps at your place of work, at your children's schools, your church, your scrap-booking club, etc. once the cell phones have been collected, you can bring them to Nevada Public Radio. We will accept cell phones year round.

You can drop off the cell phones at:
Nevada Public Radio
1289 S. Torrey Pines Drive
Las Vegas, NV 89146.
